About Our Program
Our 3-month trignometry held here at NY Edupia will prepare your child for the standardized New York Trigonometry Regents. Our teachers and their assistants will also help the prepare for any upcoming test and quizzes they may have in class and any help they need with their homework. We will give your child the understanding he/she may need to ace the regents and the class.
About the Exam
The Algebra 2/Trigonometry Regents exam will be administered in January, June, and August of every school year. Most students will take this exam after completing a one-year high school level Algebra 2/Trigonometry course.
The Algebra 2/Trigonometry Regents exam is divided into four parts with a total of 39 questions. All of the questions in each of the four parts must be answered. You will be allowed a maximum of 3 hours in which to complete the test.
Part I consists of 27 standard multiple-choice questions with four possible answers labeled (1), (2), (3), and (4).
Parts II, III, and IV contain eight, three, and one question(s), respectively. The answers and the accompanying work for the questions in these three parts must be written directly in the question booklet. You must show or explain how you arrived at each answer by indicating the necessary steps, including appropriate formula substitutions, diagrams, graphs, and charts. If you use a guess-and-check strategy to arrive at a numerical answer for a problem, you must indicate your method and show the work for at least three guesses.
All questions in each of the four parts of the test must be answered.
